Nigeria’s Davis Cup team is set for a massive World Group II Playoffs clash against Uzbekistan on 7–8 February 2026, as international tennis arrives at the historic Lagos Lawn Tennis Club, Onikan.
Ranked 74th in the world, Nigeria will take on Uzbekistan (49) in a high-stakes tie that puts the spotlight firmly on Lagos. The national team: Alafia Ayeni, Christopher Bulus, Daniel Adeleye, Canice Abua, and Michael Emmanuel, will be competing for progression, pride, and a place among the world’s elite.
