Mubarak Ayodeji Ganiyu was born on April 4th, 2007, in Nigeria. He showed an early interest in sports, and at the age of 10, he decided to pursue tennis seriously. His family supported his passion and helped him to get started in the sport. Mubarak began training with a local coach, and his natural talent soon became apparent.
Mubarak's dedication to tennis paid off quickly, and he began to achieve success in national and international competitions. He won the CBN national junior boys 12 championship, and he was named the most outstanding player of the tournament. In the same year, he won another National junior boys 12 championship.
Mubarak's journey in tennis has been one of hard work, dedication, and passion. He has shown remarkable progress since starting the sport in 2017 and has become a well-known and respected player in Nigeria.

Mubarak started competing in national junior tournaments in Nigeria. He won the CBN national junior boys 12 championship, the SOTA national junior boys 12 championship, and was named the most outstanding player of the CBN championship. He also competed in the 14 and 16 categories at the CBN championship.
Mubarak continued his success in national tournaments, winning the SNEPCO national junior boys 14 championship and earning a bronze medal at the national youth games in the boys 15 category. He also competed in the ITF/CAT West & central Africa Tennis Championship, reaching the boys doubles 16 and under finals.
Mubarak continued to dominate the national junior scene in Nigeria, winning the AZIMUTH Shipping line national junior championship in the boys 14 category and being named the most outstanding player of the CBN national junior boys championship. He also won a bronze medal in the boys 14 category at the ITF/CAT West & central Africa championship and silver and bronze medals at the national youth games in the boys 15 category.
Mubarak's success continued into 2021, winning the MP TIGER national junior boys 14 and under championship, the SNEPCO national junior boys 14 championship, and the SAPETRO FUTURES national junior boys 16 and under championship, where he was named the most outstanding player of the tournament. He also reached the boys 16 finals at the AZIMUTH SHIPPING LINE national junior boys championship and represented Nigeria at the African junior team championship, winning a bronze medal.
Mubarak reached the finals of both the CBN national junior boys 16 championship and the SNEPCO national junior boys 16 championship, earning runner-up positions. He also won the MTN national junior championship in the boys 16 and under category and the Adewale Isah Memorial national championship in the boys 16 category.
Mubarak joined the Aurum tennis academy and began competing in international tournaments. He participated in the Dala Hard Court qualifying round, the ITF J5 (two weeks) second round, and the Rain oil first round main draw. He also competed in the West African Junior Championship, where he won a bronze medal in the individual event and a gold medal in the team event.
Overall, Mubarak has had an impressive journey so far, winning multiple national and international tournaments and representing Nigeria in several events.
