Coach Rotimi Akinloye

Coach Rotimi, born on 1st April 1958, hails from Irele, in the Ondo state of Nigeria. His coaching experience spans over 40 years and is filled with numerous accomplishments. He has worked with the International Tennis Federation (ITF), leading the ITF African Team to Southern Africa and Europe. He has conducted ITF coaching courses in various countries including Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, and Liberia.
Coach Rotimi has also served as the playing captain for the Nigerian Davis Cup team at various times and has been the National Senior Team coach since 1994. His contributions to junior tennis have been significant as the National Coordinator of the Junior Tennis Initiative. He has held positions as the Technical Director for both the Nigeria Tennis Federation and Aurum Tennis Academy.
In addition to his coaching experience, Coach Rotimi is an ex-national team player and a Davis Cup player. His extensive experience in both playing and coaching tennis makes him a valuable asset to the sport.
