Elizabeth "Betty" Uber

Although not Nigerian by birth, Uber was a British tennis player who made significant contributions to Nigerian tennis in the 1940s and 1950s. She founded the Nigerian Ladies Tennis Association in 1949 and helped to develop the sport in the country. Uber also won several national and international titles, including the Nigerian National Championship in 1949 and 1950.
