Oluwaseun Peter Ogunsakin

Ogunsakin Oluwaseun Peter (Seun), born 28 February 2009, is one of our players in the Aurum Tennis Academy (ATA) participating in the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Junior Circuit. A founding member of the academy, Seun has shown great improvement which is evident in his present ranking. Before joining the academy in October 2022, Seun was ranked No.7 in Africa by the Confederation of African Tennis (CAT) rankings. In March 2023, after winning two 14 & Under ITF tournaments and the African Junior Championship (AJC) held in Togo, he became AFRICA’s highest ranked tennis player in the 14 & Under Circuit by CAT.

This is the first time a Nigerian junior player will qualify for the main event of a junior grand slam. He achieved these great milestones while being under the care and commitments of the management and coaching staff of Aurum Tennis Foundation/Aurum Tennis Academy.

Seun is also ranked by ITF as No. 4 in Nigeria; and No. 980 in the world in the 18 & Under Circuit.
